Usually, Maxis-made creations are all you'll see if you just begin the game, but the more creations you make and more creations from other people you have, the rarer Maxis-made creations will become when playing normally. Their behavior is also influenced by their stats (a creature with more attack power will become more aggressive, for example). Many of maxis-made creatures will appear randomly throughout the stage, when they appear depending on both your stats and theirs. Compared to the other stages, Creature Stage has the most creatures made by Maxis.
